Collection includes:

3 x Sierra Grande Merlot 2018 (Chile)

Awarded 91/100 Points & 4.5 Stars: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2019

"Beautifully ripe and bright, the wine shows Black Doris plum, mulberry, toasted nut and floral aromas on the nose, followed by a succulent palate that is plump and flavoursome. Well balanced and lingering with sweet fruit notes backed by silky tannins, making it highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2022" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2019

Aromas of plums and cherries mixed with peppery spice and a touch of tabacco leaf. The palate is juicy and fresh with soft red fruits and a hint of green pepper. A really easy drinking Merlot.

Grapes are harvested during the coolest part of the day to ensure they reach the winery in prime condition. Temperatures are kept fairly low throughout the winemaking process, to allow the grapes to express their natural fruit characters. No oak is used. The resulting wine is fuller with more body and softer tannins and works really well with the higher altitude component.

Food Pairing: Great food wine, serve with a juicy steak, savoury lamb casseroles, herby sausages or a char-grilled vegetable lasagne.

Alc: 12.5%

3 x Sierra Grande Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 (Chile)

AWARDED 93/100 POINTS & 5 STARS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2019

"This is gorgeously fruited and fragrant on the nose showing cassis, dark plum, thyme and toasted nut characters. The palate is equally satisfying with excellent weight and intensity, together with fine texture and polished tannins, finishing long and delightfully supple. At its best: now to 2023" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2019

Bursting with red and blackcurrant fruits, this is a really soft and pure Cabernet with gentle tannins and a hint of green pepper on the finish. Cool herby flavours mingle with red fruits and a nice touch of acidity.

Sourced from the Colchagua valley which sits in the middle of Chile’s main central valley. Colchagua is widely regarded as one of the best locations for red varieties in Chile and many illustrious wineries are based here. The warm, Mediterranean type climate suits Cabernet really well, allowing it to ripen fully, late into the season. A cool short fermentation to preserve fruit aroma and maceration on the skins for only a few days to extract nice colour but minimal tannins. No oak is used. Early bottling to keep the wine's youthful style.

Food Pairing: Try with herby roast leg of lamb, char-grilled steak, or stuffed baked red peppers.
