The wine delivers stunning concentration and elegance whilst finishing impressively long and harmonious.
Hand selected from the Hammond Road vineyard, which has a long association for producing organically grown produce and livestock. Aged for 10 months, this stunning vintage was whole bunch pressed, and wild fermented in French Barriques (36% new and 19% 1-yearold) and Acacia (27% new and 18% 1-year-old).
2019 Ella Maria is the sixth release of this very special and highly sought-after wine. Named after Andrew and Marieke’s first daughter, Ella Maria, only 4500 bottles were produced of this stunning vintage.

Hmm. Description over-promised; however, I think this wine will come into its own over time / this style usually does, and this one is a baby. Fully expect I would give this a higher rating in a year’s plus time.
