In the palate, juicy strawberries and pink mulberry flavours with plenty of fine tannins take over at the finish, along with flavours of liquorice.
Casa Santos Lima (the Producer of Lab) is located about 40km away from Lisbon. They're a fairly big operation making wines from most regions of the country but all of them in a very regionally-sensitive way - and very modern, clean and drinkable to boot.
