Deep red with purple hues in the glass. Sweet ripe brambles, black plums and a hint of pepper. Sweet fruit, medium tannin and a good length, with ripe berry fruit and a hint of oak character on the finish.
Hailing from one of the best Shiraz regions in the world - McLaren Vale, Australia.
After crushing and destemming, the grapes were fermented on skins to develop intense colour and flavour in the wine. Regular mixing over a 10 day period encouraged flavour complexity further. Transferring to a combination of French and American oak barriques, the wine matured over a 12 month period before bottling.
