A fresh Sauvignon Blanc with a citrus minerality, tropical notes and touches of gooseberry. The palate weight is rich and full, balanced with refined acidity.
The fruit for this Mystery wine was hand harvested and fermented at cool temperatures in stainless settle tanks after gentle pressing. Winemakers have used the best strains of yeast most suited to the distinctive aromatics of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Lees ageing (6 months) prior to bottling has developed midpalate weight adding to the wine’s intense fruit characters.
