Spicy, voluptuous and exuding the spirit of the sunny Marlborough wine region, the Landmark Sauvignon Gris has aromas of lemon drops, mandarin, orange peel and freshly squeezed limes. The palate is textural, full and lively with a long lingering finish.
Hand harvested and gently processed into the winery, the juice was then fermented at cool temperatures to allow the natural flavours to shine. The wine was allowed to age gracefully on yeast lees for 4 months before being lightly filtered and bottled in September 2019.
Misty Cove’s Landmark Sauvignon Gris is deeply influenced by old world winemaking techniques. Lovingly handcrafted in small batch quantities, this wine was crafted to reflect the “Landmark” – the attributes and characteristics of the Rapaura, Selmes Road vineyard from which it originated.
