"Crisp and lively, the wine shows fresh apple, citrus and dried grass characters on the nose with a hint of raspberry. It's juicy and delicate on the palate with pristine fruit flavours backed by refreshing acidity, making it very approachable and easy to enjoy" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Apr 2020

Rose petal, plum and raspberry supported by subtle garden herb and a touch of spice. A fragrant wine of freshness, purity and drive. Balanced from beginning to end with savoury dry flavours overlaid with alluring sweet fruit flavours. A lovely wine to enjoy with food or on its own.

These well-established vineyards, up to 30 years of age, are planted in some of Australia’s most fertile soils. At just under two hours from the famed Barossa, the area is rich in nutrients, has a mostly dry climate and receives most of rainfall through Autumn, which is perfect timing. The vineyards have good vigour, so vines are regulated with drip irrigation and planted widely to allow for growth also allowing the air flow to reduce disease pressure and help sustain organic practices.

2019 will be remembered for the one that failed to produce much fruit. There was a deficit in rain during the summer which made it difficult for growers to make up the shortfall instead having to rely on irrigation. Although yields were down vines produced fruit with more intensity.

Sourced exclusively from fourth generation vignerons, the Grigoriou family who are based in the heart of the dry grown vineyards of the Monash Valley. Here the vines are stronger, healthier and simply put, produce exceptional fruit year in and year out.
