"The 2018 Côtes Du Rhône Rosé reveals a light, Provençal color as well as notes of white peach, citrus, and tangerines. It shows a touch of salty minerality on the finish, is light and quaffable, and beautifully balanced. In short, it's a terrific Provençal style Rosé to drink over the coming Summer months" Jeb Dunnuck
"Fashionably pale in color, the 2018 Côtes du Rhône Réserve Grand Veneur Rosé offers up notes of melon, peach and anise on the nose. It's medium-bodied, crisp and dry, virtually guaranteed not to offend fans of Provence-style Rosé" Robert Parker's - The Wine Advocate
This Provençal style Rosé is delightfully fragrant and inviting, the elegantly expressed bouquet shows white fruits, lemon peel, strawberry and subtle spice aromas, followed by a juicy palate that is finely textured and beautifully flowing. The wine is crisp-dry and mouth-watering with a persistent finish. Perfect Summer Rosé drinking. Sealed under screwcap to capture all the freshness of the delicious Rose.
Grenache features prominently in some of the world’s finest Rosés – from Spain’s Navarra (near Rioja) and also from France’s southern Rhône and Provence. There, with Syrah, it lends itself to sumptuous reds, and to delightfully pale and refreshing rosés like this. Made by the award winning Jaume family who have been making wine in the northern part of Chateauneuf du Pape since 1826. The family still runs the company today – the eponymous Alain Jaume is still very much involved in the business, but his two sons Christophe (winemaking) and Sebastian (sales and marketing) are now in day to day command.
