Description
"Classy viognier with an array of subtle and appealing flavours including apricot, nectarine, stone fruits, white flowers and toasted nut characters teasingly displayed on a lingering finish. A gently textural wine, with a hint of fruit sweetness perfectly balanced by fruity acidity" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review
"Delicate, floral , fruity and varietal with aromas of white apricot and white peach, flowers and a chalky white stone minerality. The aromas and core of fruit follow through seamlessly on the palate, medium acidity and weight, a fine linear mineral layer and calm lengthy finish. Balanced and well made, drink now and through 2021" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
Honey and almonds on the nose, along with white pepper, faint vanillin and cardamom notes, and robust notes of pear in syrup. Stone fruit is more nectarine than apricot, suggesting something fleshier and less concentrated. The palate confirms this, extremely round and generous with flashes of florals, a hint of verbena and peach/nectarine all the way through. Finishes long and crisp, with the faintest prickle of acidity to keep things balanced.
