Pale straw yellow with light green hues in the glass. Inviting pear and apple blossom notes with a touch of spice make for an appealing nose. Off dry in style. Elegant pineapple, pear and honeysuckle notes with a rich texture and mouthfeel finishing clean and dry.
This wine is produced from vineyards in the Hawke’s Bay high country region of New Zealand. The soils are rocky ancient river beds with a mix of free draining stony soils and clay loams.
A warm summer provided rich flavors, and cool evenings led to crispness and good structure.
