A round and soft Pinot Noir with flavours of fresh, ripe raspberries, plum and a hint of dried thyme. The palate is concentrated and focused with juicy fruit intensity and finishes with a nice oak lift. Silky tannins complement a long toasty finish and excellent mouthfeel. Perfect for drinking now and will continue to develop well for 4-5 years from vintage date.
Fruit was selected from a number of specifically chosen low cropping vineyards from the Southern Valleys region of Marlborough. A proportion of it went to oak where it underwent malolactic fermentation before being blended ready for bottling.
Food Pairing: An appealing and easy-drinking Pinot suitable for any occasion. A great food match with garlic and herb roasted pork tenderloin.
