"The wine has a pale pink hue and lovely toasty brioche yeast autolysis flavours together with just a hint of strawberry. The texture is ethereal and the balance perfect, with a gently drying finish" Taste Magazine, Taste's Top Wine Awards, 2018

"A masterful sparkling with abundantly fresh nectarine, white peach and lemon citrus. The palate swings more into grapefruit territory and holds a neat, fresh and zesty stance. A savoury and stony finish" Nick Stock, jamessuckling.com, Nov 2017

"Toast and quince notes are elegant and refined, with a delicacy to the details of dried flowers, saline, yellow apple and Meyer lemon" Maryann Worobiec, Wine Spectator, Aug 2017

Quartz Reef Methode Traditionnelle is a wine of distinction, made in the traditional method to achieve elegance and finesse. Focused, fresh and crisp with beautiful balance and length.

1 x Greenhough Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2018

A classic "top of the south" style, vibrant and crunchy in spirit. A portion of high solids fermentation with indigenous yeasts has bridled the most overt of varietal characters and contributed subtle palate texture and depth. Aromatically there’s an intriguing mix of fresh sweet florals, tangelo/citrus along with nettle and crushed herb notes. This is reflected in the flavour profile of the palate. At first fresh and vibrant, the wine opens with a little time to reveal a softer, generous core of melon, tangelo and variously ripe citrus.

1 x Millton Opou Gisborne Chardonnay 2017

This wine has brightness and clarity of light and aroma. It is well gathered and has harmony across the overall taste. There is an air of antiquity in this style yet a new world lift which makes for a very satisfying glass of wine. Warm and delicious, fine yet complex reflecting its true sense of place. Drink from 2018-2030.

1 x Escarpment Nina Martinborough Rosé 2019

After so many years of making full bodied Pinot Noir, the team wanted to explore some other facets of this wonderful grape. Winemaker Larry's daughter, christened Nina Rose, was the inspiration for this wine and its naming. After a few differences over what they should share at dinner, with Nina's preference being Pinot Gris and Larry's being Chardonnay a compromise was reached, and new found delights!

100% Pinot Noir from Te Muna Rd has given a wonderfully perfumed, strawberry aromatic wine. Left on the skins for a mere 2 hours then barrel fermented in old oak, a very delicate perfect blush coloured Pinot Rosé has resulted.

Food Pairing: An ideal accompaniment to Summer celebrations or dinner with your daughter.

1 x Millton Crazy by Nature Gisborne Cosmo Red 2016

This gorgeous wine is a blend of Malbec grown at Te Arai, Syrah grown at Opou and Viognier grown at Riverpoint. There is dark leather and black pepper with a tingling aroma of lifted spice, eucalyptic character, unique to this wine and its own natural surroundings. The taste is lifted and alive with mint, chocolate, Asian spice, and warmth of feather pillow for a fatigued head. Not too dense. Unfined and bottled on the property, without filtration.

Grown biodynamically using special herbal, mineral and animal preparations and with compassion for the laws of nature. We have not used any herbicide, insecticide, systemic fungicide or soluble fertilizer to produce these grapes nor any foreign yeasts or bacteria’s to ferment the grape juice. This wine was aged in special 600 litres oak barrels for 15 months. Unfined and bottled on the property, without filtration. With time a harmless deposit may form.

Suitable for vegetarian and vegan enjoyment.

"Fragrantly aromatic pinot noir with ripe cherry, plum, spice and subtle oak flavours. An elegant wine with appealing purity and suppleness. There is also a suggestion of floral character, perhaps red rose? Delicious now but no rush" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Mar 2019

"Very good colour and the wine is all-round bright, fresh, clean and lovely. The tannins are softer here than in the past, although it's till highly structured. Tannins are less blocky and the wine less extracted. Delicious Pinot; superb quality" Huon Hooke, Real Review, Jan 2019

"Certified biodynamic, the refined, youthful 2017 vintage was estate-grown at Bendigo, hand-picked and matured in French oak barriques (28% new). Deeply coloured, it is invitingly perfumed, with strong, ripe flavours, vibrant and supple, excellent complexity, and a long finely poised finish. Already drinking well, it should be at its best from 2021 onwards" Michael Cooper, May 2019

Divine ruby red in colourwith intense cherry and berry aromas. Rich on the palate with dark cherry, subtle floral and herbaceous notes. Excellent depth, fine tannins and a long vibrant finish.
