We’ve been fans of the Bonpas wines for a while but we haven’t managed to get any wine out of them...till now! We are delighted to bag this rich, spicy Réserve Côtes du Rhône, particularly thrilling in another tasty Rhône vintage. It is a classic velvety Grenache, enhanced with a little peppery, blackberry rich Syrah. Well ripened in the warm sunshine of 2017, and very moreish – Rhône red at its most appealing best.

This luscious red perfectly captures the ripeness, depth and sheer drinkability of the best Côtes du Rhônes. Made from the usual suspects from this part of France - Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault. This beauty has rich, ripe flavours of spiced blackberry, raspberry and redcurrant. Lovely, long, smooth and silky on the palate but with plenty of structure making it feel more serious than the price tag suggests.

Resulting in some of the most attractive, warm fruited (and affordable) wines you’re likely to find anywhere. The Dames de Bonpas certainly make the most of its location with this luscious, Gold medal red and its waves of ripe, velvety fruit and smoky complexity.
