Deep burgundy with bright purple hue. A complex and lively blend of rich dark fruits such as plum, blueberries, hints violets and mocha oak. Across the palate it delivers a plush and decadent blend showcasing plum and blueberry synonymous with Durif, hints of spice and roundness from the Shiraz with a powerful elegant backbone provided by Petit Verdot. The barrel ageing adds chocolate and mocha notes to give an intense and seamless wine. This wine is ready to enjoy now but will blossom with further maturation in the next 5-8 years.

2015 generally saw some early rains and mild growing conditions, allowing for wonderful fruit expression and intensity.

Each variety was assessed and selected by the winemaker and then harvested when the varieties were showing true and rich varietal flavours. Cold soaked and fermented over 7-8 days. Cool temperatures of 22.0-25.0°C maintained to retain vibrant fruit.
