"It is attractively fruited and elegantly lifted on the nose showing ripe strawberry, cherry, mixed spice and toasted almond characters. The palate is gently weighted and nicely rounded with juicy fruit flavours backed by polished tannins, finishing smooth and lingering. Friendly and very easy on the palate. Flavours of ripe, fresh raspberries, warm red plum and dried herbs combine with subtle oak characters to form an approachably styled Pinot Noir with a long toasty finish. Fruit for this wine was sourced from number of specifically chosen low cropping vineyards from the Southern valleys region of Marlborough. Perfect for dinking now, this wine will continue to develop complexity for at least the next 3 years.
