"Very pale candyfloss pink with a little depth, lighter on the rim. The nose is very delicate with fragrant aromas of red florals along with a fresh, mouthwatering amalgam of herbs and minerals, unfolding subtle strawberry and pomegranate fruit notes. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has delicate, but mouthfilling flavours od strawberries, red florals and pomegranate with subtle notes of fresh herbs, forming a tight core and providing a thirst-quenching mouthfeel. The fruit flows with good linearity along a very fine, phenolic-textured line with crisp acidity, carrying the flavours to a clean, dry, lingering, nuanced finish. This is a crisp and thirst-quenching, delicately mouthfilling flavoured dry rosé with strawberries, florals and herbs. Serve as an aperitif and with canapés over the next 2 years. Made from Pinot Noir fruit, over 50% from the ‘Rapaura’ vineyard with almost all the rest from the ‘Home’ vineyard and a small portion from ‘The Angler’ vineyard, crushed and given a limited amount of skin contact and fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and 3.0 g/L RS" Raymond Chan, Aug 2018
