"Sweetly fruited and inviting, the attractively expressed bouquet shows ripe plum, cranberry, floral, spice and toasted almond characters with a hint of dried herb complexity. The palate is juicy and beautifully rounded, delivering pristine fruit flavours together with subtle savoury undertones, backed by polished tannins. Deep garnet in colour, this wine displays aromas of black cherry, violets, forest floor and caramelised sugar. The palate has black forest chocolate gateaux notes with cardamom, chai, pink peppercorns and a touch of iodine adding interest. Underlying cranberry flavours are supported by a waxy mouthfeel and a juicy finish.
Sourced from the Southern Valleys with some fruit from the Awatere Valley. This pinot noir went through 100% stainless steel fermentation and was hand plunged. This brought out the perfumed berry fruit as well as increasing the silky mouthfeel of the wine. The wine was then aged for six months with French oak.

I like this wine and buy it regularly from the supermarket. It comes on as a special at the price I have just bought it from you, but I am not going to the supermarket due to COVID-19. I was hoping that I could buy it at a better price than I get at the supermarket, which means I would regularly purchase through you. Love this site though and I hope business is good for you. Nice to have it delivered to the door and it was quick, so thanks for the good service.
