Description

Pretty pale salmon colour in the glass. Aromas of strawberries and cream leap from the glass with a subtle fresh pear note. Red berry flavours of strawberries and raspberries combined with cream intermingle with fresh pear creating a delicious fruit driven styled wine with a refreshing clean finish.
Harvested in the cool of the evening to retain the fresh fruit flavours from the grapes. Following harvesting the grapes spent only a few hours on their skins to obtain the perfect flavour, aroma and colour required following which it was carefully pressed. Fermentation took place in 100 per cent stainless steel at cooler temperatures. Following fermentation, the wine was stabilized and carefully prepared for bottling. A combination of both Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir varietals were utilized to create this wine.
Food Pairing: A perfect aperitif or well matched with a fresh summer salad and pan seared fish wish a splash of lemon.

A ok dry Rose. Ready now with light colour. It has good acid but is lacking in real fruit punch. Not one I would get again. If asked, could not tell what it was made from.
