Description
This lovely Spanish wine displays an attractive and bright pale pink colour with violet hints. Floral aromas on the nose, standing out fresh flowers. Delicate and subtle red fruits on the palate with a well-balanced acidity. Fresh in mouth, elegant with a rounded and long finish.
The Martinez Bujanda family, producers of Valdemar wines, founded their original winery in 1889. They own 820 acres of vineyards, which makes Valdemar one of the largest estates in the Rioja. A new winery was built in 1984 to take advantage of modern technologies, integrating both new and time-honored traditions of winemaking.
Food Pairing: This wine matches perfectly with smoked fish, soups, creams and salads. It also goes well with Mediterranean cuisine such as rice plates and pastas and dishes with bittersweet sauces.
