Post-harvest, every year, each tank at the winery holds wine from single sites around the Marlborough region. These wines are then taken through rigorous blind taste testing at the grading table until the very best wines have been picked that exhibit all the trademark characteristics found in this Reserve Pinot Rosé. This is the reason our wines have such concentrated, expressive flavours, year on year.
Cooler temperatures during the 2018 growing season extended the ripening period and then delivered trademark Marlborough flavours. Careful vineyard & crop management decisions were made to ensure fruit harvested clean, phenologically ripe and full of flavour. This Reserve wine is made from the finest parcels of fruit from the 2018 harvest and characterised by the rich, berry flavours and lovely palate weight found in the best examples of Marlborough Rosé.
