Harvested from specifically chosen low cropping vineyards from the Southern Valleys region of the Wairau Valley in Marlborough. This is a round, full texture Pinot Noir with aromas of concentrated red fruits interlaced with a hint of thyme and freshly ground coffee beans. The palate displays flavours of fresh ripe raspberries, and warm red plum with a silky texture and a long toasty finish. Fresh acidity balances the fine powdered structure complementing the fruit.
Drinking beautifully now and with careful cellaring will mature into a more complex wine that can be enjoyed for the next five years.
Food Pairing: An ideal accompaniment to seared duck breasts with honey and soy or wild mushroom risotto.
