Description

"This is fabulously expressed on the nose showing watermelon, mandarin, kiwifruit and floral aromas, leading to a delectably expressed palate that offers lively fruit flavours and rounded mouthfeel, finishing long and refreshing. Bright, pretty and so tasty. At its best: now to 2019" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Sep 2017

"Bright, pale cerise-pink with slight purple hues, lighter on the rim. This has a tight and elegantly concentrated nose with aromas of strawberries, cherries, cranberries and pomegranate, with lifted red florals. The aromatics are refreshing, building in fruitiness, revealing nuances of mouthwatering minerals. Dryish to taste and medium-bodied, the palate features a sweetly aromatic core of strawberries and cherries, cranberries and pomegranate fruit with lifted red florals and nuances of fermentation esters. The fruit is carried along a light, drying, fine-textured phenolic line, leading to a thirst-quenching, lingering finish with florals and esters. This is an aromatic dryish rosé with lifted fruit and a fine, drying, mouthwatering line. Serve as an aperitif, with canapes and antipasto over the next 2 years. Marlborough Pinot Noir fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 6 g/L RS, the wine aged 2 months on lees" Raymond Chan, Aug 2017

A lovely, bright, pink colour with lifted aromas of raspberry, watermelon and florals. Layers of ripe beryr fruit flavours are complemented by a full, rich palate. Enjoy slightly chilled, it's delicious!

This wine is born out of a lifetime of hard graft and is inspired by the purity of the Spring that runs through the Rapaura Vineyard. All of the Rapaura Springs wines are made with integrity and are a true expression of the beautiful Marlborough rigion. Authentic wines made with care and passion.

Cooler temperatures during the 2017 growing season extended the ripening period and then delivered trademark Marlborough flavours. Careful vineyard & crop management decisions were made to ensure fruit as harvested clean, phenologically ripe and full of flavour. Our Reserve wine is made from the finest parcels of fruit from our 2017 harvest and characterised by the rich, berry flavours and lovely palate weight found in the best examples of Marlborough Rosé.

Food Pairing: Perfect with creamy rock oysters or a tomato, feta and basil pasta.
