Description
"This is delightfully fruited and expressed on the nose showing apricot, rockmelon, floral and subtle spice aromas, followed by a flavoursome palate that is succulent and fleshy. The wine displaying lovely fruit flavours and varietal purity, wonderfully supported by silky texture and refreshing acidity. At its best: now to 2021" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Feb 2019
Lifted aromas of peach, nectarine and fragrant blossom flowers laced with juniper. Rich with flavours of apricot, almond and lifted notes of lemon zest. This wine has a full elegant palate and a balanced, long, lingering finish.
These grapes were sourced from a vineyard in the Hawkes Bay. The grapes were harvested at optimum ripeness, pressed off and settled.
Perfect for drinking now or with careful cellaring will continue to develop over the next 3-4 years.

Again.....excellent. I acquired a taste for this grape when living in Australia and was pleasantly surprised to discover this excellent example in NZ. Not so many produced here and this is certainly the best I've had.

Dry, medium body, fruity characteristics of a typical viognier. Very similar to southern French viogniers. Excellent value for money.

Exceptional value for money for a well balanced wine.
