Classic aromatics of white peach, McIntosh toffee creams and buttered sourdough toast lead to a warm, creamy palate with fruit richness and excellent length. Delicious.
For three generations the Briant family has been tending the bountiful lands of Gisborne, growing crops, families and community. Chardonnay thrives in the absurdly named Poverty Bay area, especially under such experienced care, and its willingness to embrace oak and share the limelight with the winemaker wins it many friends, especially among winemakers.
Each One Block Wines presents the fruit from a single vineyard block, thoughtfully selected and individually crafted by winemaker, Jo Gear.
