"A blend of 50% Grenache, 40% Cinsault and 10% Syrah, the 2017 Côtes du Rhône Parallele 45 Rosé comes across as significantly less tutti-frutti than some past vintages, instead offering hints of dried spices and crushed stone. It still shows red berry flavors and some peachy notes, but this medium-bodied wine finishes with sufficient citrusy acids to be refreshing" Joe Czerinski, Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate
"Pale pink. Fresh citrus fruits and red berries on the bright, focused nose and palate. In a clean, racy style, carrying no excess fat. The juicy finish leaves tangy red currant and cherry notes behind" Josh Raynolds, Antonio Galloni’s Vinous.
Bright, pale salmon colour in the glass. The bouquet showcases aromas of bright red berries and hints of dried spices. A beautifully fresh and mineral driven Rhône Rosé with floral notes of wild berries, white pepper, and cherries. This exquisitely balanced Rosé is very much Provençal in style.
Beginning in 1950, the name of this Rhône blend is taken from the 45th North parallel, which runs two kilometers from the Domaine cellars.
