1 x Mojo Adelaide Hills Pinot Grigio 2018 (Australia)

AWARDED 92/100 POINTS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2019

"Brightly fruited and elegantly fragrant, the bouquet shows fresh apple, pear, lemon peel and white floral characters, followed by a finely textured palate that is juicy and lively. The wine offers delightful fruit purity and poise, leading to a lengthy crisp finish. At its best: now to 2021" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2019

This delightful Pinot Grigio is gorgeously aromatic ( think blossom, lemon grass, corella pears). On the palate, quite ripe flavours of honeyed spiced pear, white nectarine balanced with brilliant crisp acidity; with great length , it is lean (but not green). Lots of rich lemon & lime minerality with a subtle grapefruit tang. Vibrant, floral, citrus.

Food Pairing: As a stand alone, Pinot Grigio is always a great appertif. But you can never go wrong pairing with fish or shellfish - think seafood risotto or even sashimi!

Seal: Screw Cap - Alc: 12%

1 x Mojo Barossa Valley Shiraz 2017 (Australia)

Awarded 93/100 Points: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2019

"This is splendidly fruited and inviting on the nose showing dark fruit richness together with vanilla, cocoa, cedar and cake spice notes, followed by a beautifully weighted palate that is supple and fleshy. It is up front and flavoursome, offering terrific drinking. At its best: now to 2024" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2019

A smooth, rich palate of damask plum, black cherries and spicy laced blueberries up front draped in sweet cherry oak. These primary characters provide fleshy support through the palate where they meld with subtle traces of chocolate, mocha, rosehip, leather and tobacco leaf, all complimented by a savoury touch of meaty complexity. The finish is long and generous with the charry notes continuing through to embrace the abundant ripe, supple tannins and culminate in the soothing warmth of a pinch of black pepper. Aromas of pungent stewed plum, blackberry pastille and crushed boysenberries, with brooding wafts of earthy blood and bone, toasty oak and a faint hint of star anise.

Food Pairing: Well suited to grilled lamb chops, a proven winner with venison and pork lasagne or try with a slow cooked brisket of beef.

Seal: Screw Cap - Alc: 14%

1 x Mojo McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 (Australia)

AWARDED 93/100 POINTS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2019

"It is brightly fruited and beautifully fragrant on the nose showing blackcurrant, dark plum, thyme, toasted almond and subtle spice characters. The palate is equally attractive with excellent fruit purity and intensity, wonderfully supported by fine texture and polished tannins. Well proportioned and immediately appealing. At its best: now to 2024" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2019

Deliciously fragrant bouquet filled with notes of blackcurrant and crimson red rose. On the palate, it is all about mouth filling ripe raspberries, juicy blackberry with hints of spicy cedarwood followed by very supple tannins. Fragrant, blackcurrant and supple.

Food Pairing: Perfect with rich & hearty dishes, as it tends to brighten them. But you can never fail with classic pairing of good ol' grilled steak, chips and Cabernet.
