Description

"Bright and fragrant, the inviting bouquet shows sweet raspberry, plum, mixed spice and roasted nut characters, leading to a beautifully rounded palate that is plump and juicy. The wine offers appealing fruit intensity and smooth texture, finishing long and silky. At its best: now to 2021" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Dec 2018

A big, bold Shiraz with rich, ripe spicy plum and blackberry flavours balanced by soft, gentle vanilla characters. On the nose you will experience lifted spice, pepper, and cinnamon balanced with plum and blackberry richness. Soft, full and rounded vanilla and caramel flavours are balanced with rich, ripe, plum, spice, and blackberry jam fruit flavours. This wine can be enjoyed now and over the next 3-5 years.

Australia’s flagship red, this wine is typical of the varietal. The fruit was sourced from Langhorne Creek with parcels of fruit treated individually throughout fermentation and maturation, before being blended to create an intensely flavoured wine with aromas of spice, pepper, cinnamon, plum and berries.

Backed by four generations of winemaking heritage, Tempus Two is a cutting-edge Australian winery that does things ‘just a little bit differently’. From its spiritual home in the Hunter Valley, Australia’s oldest wine region, Tempus Two sources fruit from Australia’s premium vineyard regions to craft wines with both substance and style. Their approach is simple: the best regions, the best varieties. They pay homage to classic Australian varieties and styles by growing vines in unique Australian regions like Hunter Valley, Barossa Valley, Langhorne Creek and the Adelaide Hills.

Food Pairing: Divine with roast duck, wood-fired pizza as well as a “bitey” cheddar cheese.
