Description
This Shiraz is deep red in colour with vibrant aromas of lifted blackberry fruit, pepper, red liquorice and a touch of vanilla. The palate shows ripe, fleshy fruit with silky tannins driving a long finish. Cellaring will reward.
This limited release wine is blended from their finest parcels of 2015 Shiraz.
Hand selected grapes were crushed in small open fermenters and pumped over twice daily (for seven days) to maximise flavour and tannin extraction. The wine was then pressed off its skins and matured in 50% new and one year old French oak barriques for 16 months.
