Greyrock Hawke's Bay Rosé 2018
Description
- Fresh red berries
- Plum
- Strawberry
- Crisp & refreshing
Aromas of ripe berry fruit, sweet plum and a hint of strawberry. The palate is rich with refreshing berry flavours and a dry finish. Drink it young and lightly chilled. Recommended serving temperature 8-10°C.
The Greyrock Rosé is predominantly sourced from the Bridge Pa Triangle sub-region of Hawke's Bay, based on rich, soft and approachable hand-crafted wines. They are made for early enjoyment, but may be cellared with confidence.
This Rosé is made from a combination of directly pressed parcels and bleed off (saignée) of juice from selected blocks of fruit. The juice is inoculated with cultured yeast, before a cool fermentation to retain fruit flavour. Early bottling retains the vibrant aromatics.
Food Pairing: Seafood and Mediterranean cuisine, or drink as an aperitif with friends.
