Description
Full-bodied, voluminous body with earthy-wood notes and slightly burnt nuances recall strawberries and plum compote, worn in a supple, round tannin structure. Tannins, fruit and acid are beautifully balanced. Velvety, fruity and multi-layered drinking pleasure. This grape variety from Sicily has a red colour with violet nuances and an intense scent. Notes of cherry, black raspberry, currant and pomegranate stand out. Lingering, warm, fruity finish.
After crushing the grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature. After racking and soft pressing the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks.

Food Pairing: Nero d’Avola is a great wine to match with rich meaty meats.
