In 2012, Fabienne and Michel, (son Fabien and daughter Emilie) Broton made a life changing decision to realise their dream of becoming winemakers. Smart ones at that, choosing Provence, a region that has exceptional terrior to produce exceptional fine wines. They renamed the vineyard “Clos de l’ours”, “ours’ meaning bear in French, a wink to the new winemaker, Michel. At the heart of the property also sits a beautiful guest house with Mediterranean charm and stunning view across the vineyard.
Organic and hand harvested in small boxes of 30kg. Direct pressing and controlled temperatures during fermentation. Elevated on fine lees in stainless steel vat.
