Description
A blend of 45% Grenache, 40% Cinsault and 15% Syrah.
Superb, brilliant, pale pink color. Highly aromatic, with delicate notes of raspberry, peach, and white blossoms. The terroir shines through on the palate with lovely length and a mineral, saline finish.
The partly terraced vineyards lie on limestone-clay soil at an average altitude of 820 feet. The climate is cool for the region with considerable diurnal/nocturnal temperature differences which allows the wines to maintain perfect balance. The grapes are mostly harvested in the cool morning hours. After destemming, the Cinsault and Grenache grapes are pressed directly while the Syrah grapes are vinified in the saignée method. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperature to preserve the wines’ aromatic freshness. The wines are aged for 3 months on fine lees and gently stirred.

Very good value for a Provence Rose particularly for those looking for a slightly off dry finish with unusually pronounced fruit which makes it a good match with asian food as well.
