Description
"The wine offers fabulous fruit intensity on the nose showing grapefruit, green rockmelon, feijoa and lime zest characters. The palate is equally attractive and delectable with bright fruit flavours and vibrant mouthfeel, brilliantly supported by refreshing acidity. Instantly appealing with loads of tasty flavours. The Fault Line Reserve is medium bodied and fresh with well-balanced acidity and refreshing tropical notes. Flavours of blackcurrant and passionfruit with a slightly salty note are complemented by lifted notes of freshly cut green capsicum. The finish is lingering and richly textured.
Fruit for this wine was sourced from several vineyards within Marlborough including the Wairau Valley. The fruit was carefully monitored during ripening and after harvest the juice was pressed off immediately to minimise skin contact and juice deterioration. Fermentation took place in 100 per cent stainless steel at cool temperatures to retain aromatics and fresh fruit flavour.
