Description
The wine appears pale green in the glass, herbaceous with fresh citrus, combined with a mix of tropical fruits and noticeable hints of blackcurrant. The palate is fresh and clean with passion fruit, locked in with melon and hints of spice, finishing concentrated and crisp, with even more lively citrus and minerality.Vibrant fruit characteristics of melon and blackcurrant balanced with fresh citrus notes. This medium-bodied Sauvignon Blanc shows only a bit of grassiness. Rather than green, it offers predominantly pineapple, grapefruit and even a touch of stone fruit, finishing with a citrusy flourish.
The fruit for this delightful Sauvignon was harvested from different areas within the Marlborough Valley, located on the north-eastern side of South Island, the region is made up of parallel valleys, with different soils and different altitudes. The vineyards for the Tussock Jumper Sauvignon Blanc are made up from sandstone, commonly known as Greywacke.
