"Beautifully fruited and accessible, this likable merlot shows blackcurrant, cocoa, raspberry jam, floral and mixed spice notes on the nose. The palate is succulent and plump, displaying youthful fruit flavours and silky texture, well structured by delicately drying tannins. At its best: now to 2020" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, May 2018.

Brilliant garnet red colour in the glass. The nose reveals beautiful aromas of ripe fruits (strawberry, blackberry) with delicate coffee notes. Harmonious and elegant on the palate, offering a round structure, full of red and black berries.

Sourced from the Languedoc Roussillon region situated along the Mediterranean sea in different terroirs that add complexity and richness to the wine. A selection of the vines are located in the coolest areas of the Languedoc region near Limoux, which experience a wide temperature range between cool nights and warm days. Whilst grapes were also sourced from the Gard region where the weather is warmer.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with Red meat, poultry, pasta and cheese.

Very smooth ans quite complex flavor. Not quite as fruity as NZ merlots, am enjoying the difference.
