1 x W5 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Awarded Gold Medal: Marlborough Wineshow 2017

Awarded 93/100 Points: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2017

"A fabulously attractive, punchy sauvignon, the inviting bouquet shows passionfruit, feijoa, fresh apple and lime zest characters. The palate delivers lovely fruit power and weight, wonderfully supported by juicy acidity. It is superbly priced and immensely appealing. At its best: now to 2019" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2017.

This Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is elegant with aromatic grapefruit and passionfruit characters and a mineral note on the palate.  Layers of gooseberry, guava, green capsicum combine with herbaceous characters to provide an exceptional length and intensity. Grapes for this delicious sauvignon blanc were sourced from different sub-regions in Marlborough and then fermented in stainless steel to retain freshness and zing.

Food Pairing: Perfect for immediate drinking on its own or a terrific match with fresh seafood.

Seal: Screw Cap - Alc: 12.5%

1 x W5 Single Vineyard Marlborough Pinot Noir 2016

Awarded 93/100 Points: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Dec 2017

"Wonderfully fruited and beautifully expressed, the inviting bouquet shows dark cherry, cranberry, toasted almond and mixed spice aromas, followed by a succulent palate that is flavoursome and velvety. The wine offers pristine fruit flavours together with elegant savoury nuances, finishing superbly long and smooth. At its best: now to 2020" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Dec 2017

Intense Pinot Noir with a beautiful bouquet of fresh red berries with hints of dried herb and spice. Garnet red in colour with purple hues. Elegant in style with flavours of rich plum, raspberries and toasted spice. Full bodied and well-structured with silky tannins to create a full round weighty palate. Excellent concentration and length with savoury oak and a long smooth finish. Seasoned with a mixture of new and older French toasty oak.

Fruit was sourced from a number of specifically chosen naturally low cropping vineyards from the Southern Valleys region of Marlborough.

Food Pairing: A delicious wine to drink now but also well worth cellaring for at least five years from vintage date. Perfect to enjoy alongside spring lamb with rosemary and creamy mash.
