Misty Cove’s Pinot Gris is lovingly handcrafted and produced from their upper Wairau Valley vineyard where stony old river bed soils help create a floral and fleshy wine that truly
captures Marlborough’s unique environment. Marlborough’s famously rich soils give this Misty Cove Pinot Gris a fruit sweetness that's long and dry with hints of spice and Turkish delight on the nose.
In the winery the juice spent six hours skin contact to enhance flavours and texture. Fermented at 11-13° with two selected yeasts and stopped at 4.5 g/L residual to produce a wine with more mouthfeel and structure
