Collection includes:
1 x Domaine Grand Veneur Cotes du Rhone les Champauvins 2015
AWARDED 92/100 POINTS: Robert Parker, RobertParker.com, The Wine Advocate
Deeper in color than the Cotes du Rhone Reserve, the 2015 Cotes du Rhone les Champauvins is a solid step up, with fabulously complex notes of big cherry, blueberries, raspberries, spring flowers and pepper all emerging from the glass. Medium to full-bodied, rich and beautifully textured, it tastes more like a Chateauneuf du Pape than a Cotes du Rhone. Drink it anytime over the coming 4-5 years.

"Leading off the 2015 which were all tasted from bottle, the 2015 Côtes du Rhône les Quartz is terrific and will compete with any number of more expensive Châteauneuf du Papes. Strawberries, framboise, garrigue and flower notes all flow to an elegant, ethereally textured Côtes du Rhône that has depth, length, and complexity. With silky tannin, a charming, forward style, and a great finish, it's a no-brainer purchase" Jeb Dunnuck, RobertParker.com, The Wine Advocate

The wine offers lovely complexity and expansive mouthfeel, finishing long and satisfying. At its best: now to 2021" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2018
"A bold sweet ripe nose of blueberry, cherry with lovely leathery hints, the palate is full of juicy red berries, firm but delicious tannin, and a crushed rock minerality, finishing with long satisfying elegance" Decanter Magazine.

Located in Châteauneuf du Pape since 1898, Caves Saint-Pierre is a winery whose reputation has been built on its knowledge of the vineyards along with expertise in the blending and ageing of wines for over one hundred years. Tasting reveals this to be a delicate cherry-tinted wine which develops a pleasant mixture of aromas including kirsch, new leather and spices.
