Description

"Deep purple color. Fruity, spicy aromas and flavors of chocolate sesame candy, pistachio nougat, spicy berry pie, and tangerine with a satiny, bright, dry-yetfruity medium body and a polished, interesting, medium-long vanilla toffee, dried raspberry, and smoked nuts finish with silky tannins and light oak. A very tasty, nicely made cabernet with fine flavor and structure" The Beverage Tasting Institute, Sep 2017

"Full body, firm structure and well-concentrated fruit flavors make a great combination in this robust wine. It makes the mouth water for a meaty dish to enjoy it with, and it has a good palate-coating sense of richness" Jim Gordon, Wine Enthusiast, Jan 2018

"This crisp red features red currant and black licorice flavors that are balanced, carrying some savory accents. Slate notes show on the finish" Wine Spectator, 2018

The Bogle family has been farming since the mid-1800’s. Though it was not until 1968 that the father and son team of Warren and Chris Bogle planted their first 20 acres of wine grapes in Clarksburg, California. Today Bogle Vineyards farms over 1,500 acres of winegrapes. While the winery was established ten years after the first grapes were planted, its success has grown tremendously along with the vineyards.

Deep plum red in the glass with aromas that are complex and developed. Fuit such as dried cherries, tobacco leaf and Madagascar vanilla are showcased in the glass with first impressions. The 2015 growing season provided optimum conditions for the Cabernet Sauvignon varietal... Wrapping the palate in richness, the full bodied flavours of cherry and plum compote resonate, followed by touches of tanned leather and generous dark chocolate.

Each and every Bogle wine created is a unique and exciting blend with true varietal character and an approachable style. With their deep commitment to quality, the Bogle family would not have it any other way.
