Description
Pale pink in colour the 2018 Pinque exhibits crisp aromas of strawberry, watermelon and delicate floral notes with a very elegant palate finishing dry with plenty of refreshing carbon dioxide spritz left over from the fermentation. The 2018 Pinque is crisp, dry and elegant and pretty much perfect.
Man O war's classical dry style Rose comes from hillside vineyards surrounding the beautiful Cactus Bay and Owhiti Beach on Waiheke Island along with Merlot and Malbec from Ponui Island. Similar to previous vintages, they select parcels of Merlot, Malbec and Syrah specifically for the Rose before pressing them gently over 7 hours to produce pure pale juice for cold fermentation in stainless steel. Blended from a number of batches the resulting wine is made up of 35% Merlot, 32% Malbec and 33% Syrah.
