Description
This Pinot Gris presents delicious aromas of apple, pear, spice and cream. Flavours of baked apple, pear nectar and custard tantalise the palate, with a wine that is rich in the mouth with persistent flavour. Easy to drink on its own, or to match with food.
Grapes from each vineyard are picked as late as possible, when the flavours start to get interesting, without becoming completely over-ripe. Fermentation is carried out in both stainless steel and old barrels. Contact with yeast lees for several months is used to add texture and some layers of creamy flavour.
Food Pairing: Rich pork dishes, roast chicken or scallops.
