1 x Summerhouse Central Otago Pinot Noir 2018

Underlying savoury oak notes complement the ripe dark cherry and plum aromas. The palate is full fresh dark fruits and spicy oak. Medium-bodied and softly textured, with mourish acidity.

Carefully harvested in the cool of the night to help preserve the fresh flavours from the vineyard. Cold soaked to extract the desired flavours, tannins and colour. The wine cap was plunged two to three times a day to extract colou and tannins from the skins. Select parcels were then allowed to macerate for an additional twoto five days, further extracting colour and flavours after fermentation. Once pressed the wine was matured in a combination of French and Hungarian Oak.

Food Pairing: Try with grilled pork loin chops, chicken Provençal or a roasted vegetable salad.

Alc 13 % - Seal: Screw Cap

1 x Summerhouse Hawkes Bay Merlot 2016

This wine is deep red colour in the gass with a touch of purple hues. On the nose aromas of black fruit and dark plum mingle with a hint of forrest floor spice and seasoned oak. Dense dark fruits persist on the mid palate to give lovely sweetness, with hints of dark cocoa. These falvours are well balanced by silky smooth tannins.

The 2016 vintage was extremly late but saw an incredibly warm Summer followed buy an early Autumn period. The resulting fruit was juicy and succulent, with dark fruit flavours and plenty of colour, that produced wines with great structure and rich softness.

Food Pairing: Match with a juicy steak and red wine jus, for a classic pairing with this wines sweet and spice notes.

Alc 13.68 % - Seal: Screw Cap
