Description

"Brightly fruited and attractively fragrant, the bouquet shows dark plum, spiced cherry, violet, olive and toasted almond characters. The palate is equally delightful, displaying juicy fruit intensity and supple mouthfeel, elegantly framed by polished tannins. The wine is modern and immediately appealing with sweet berry flavours and silky texture. Outstanding value. At its best: now to 2019" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2018

Tempranillo is the king of Spanish grapes, and in this delightful blend is paired alongside Syrah to create a soft and succulent red. the palate shocases juicy red rherry, Black Doris plum and white pepper, which dance like a bull in the ring, before reaching a smooth crescendo on your first sip.

A fantastic wine from Spain which offers absolutely amazing value for money. It is a dark ruby red colour with soft red fruits on the nose with a hint of spice. The wine is soft in the mouth with ample flavours of red berry fruits and exotic spice. The finish is beautifully soft, succulent and satisfying.

Ripened in the beautiful Spanish sun, Castillo del Moro wines are sourced from one of the most advanced bodegas in La Mancha. Combining the traditional varieties of the region with international varieties such as Syrah. Castillo del Moro represents the very best of modern Spanish winemaking, whilst also drawing on winemaking traditions that go back centuries. The grapes are sourced from a mixture of trellised and bush vines in the Manzanares district of La Mancha- renowned for it’s limestone soils. The majority of the grapes are machine harvested at night in order to maintain the acidity and bright, fruit flavours.

Food Pairing: This modern red blend is suitable for all meat-laden tables.
