Case includes:

2 x Paul Jaboulet Parallele 45 Côtes Du Rhône 2018 (France)

Awarded 90/100: Points Decanter

"Deep red cherry and spiced berry notes on the nose. This has a nice mouthfeel where the soft tannins subtly coat the mouth. There's spice and soft, chewy, jammy fruit on the palate. It's not overly layered but it's balanced and enjoyable packing a punch in terms of fruit flavour but doesn't feel heavy on the palate" Decanter

Deep and dense colour, spices aromas dominate (nutmeg and pepper) with notes of very ripe and jammy red fruits. The mouth is intensely flavoured, smooth and powerful, the tannins are well incorporated by a generous flesh. Roasted and smoky notes appear on the finish.

Food Pairing: Perfect throughout the meal served alongside Pot au feu, grilled and rosted meats and a wide selection of cheeses.

Seal: Cork - Alc: 14%

2 x Paul Jaboulet Aîné Vin De France Syrah 2018 (France)

Clear red purple colour with dark purple reflections. Strong nose, this Syrah shows aromas of red fruits (cherries, blackcurrant) and spices with delicacy. The attack is concentrated and fruity. On the palate, this wine is powerful with a beautiful structure and silky tannins. The greedier finish is full of red fruits with a very nice length.

Food Pairing: A perfect palate for assorted cooked and grilled meats. We recommend beef stew with sweet wine.

Seal: Cork - Alc: 13.5%

2 x Paul Jaboulet Aine Crozes Hermitage Domaine de Thalabert 2017 (France)

AWARDED 96/100 POINTS: Jeb Dunnuck, Dec 2018

AWARDED 94/100 POINTS: Vinous, Apr 2020

AWARDED 92/100 POINTS: Robert Parkers, Wine Advocated, Dec 2019

AWARDED 92/100 POINTS: James Suckling, Oct 2019

"From a scorcher of a vintage that had tiny yields, the 2017 Crozes Hermitage Domaine de Thalabert offers a deep purple color as well as a classic Thalabert bouquet of black fruits, black olive, iodine, and peppery herbs. It's a rocking wine I'd be thrilled to drink" Jeb Dunnuck, Dec 2018

"Youthful purple color. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes ripe blackcurrant, blueberry, violet and olive and a smoky bacon nuance builds in the glass. Sweet and broad in the mouth, offering concentrated, mineral-tinged dark fruit liqueur, floral pastille and candied licorice flavors and a strong hint of spicecake. Chewy tannins build steadily on an impressively long, broad finish that leaves blue fruit preserve and exotic spice notes behind.Youthful purple color. "Marked by scents of licorice, plum and cassis, the 2017 Crozes Hermitage Domaine de Thalabert is a full-bodied effort with a fine sense of balance, a crisp finish and slightly drying tannins" Robert Parkers, Wine Advocated, Dec 2019

"This has a very attractive feel in 2017. Sanguine aromas of chocolate, iron and dark berries. There’s some real richness and a plush feel on the palate with a fine, elongated tannin drive. Super sleek. Great density and focus here. Will age very well. Try from 2024" James Suckling, Oct 2019
