The creamy, buttery notes pair delightfully with a range of dishes, our favourite being an American classic roast turkey

"Fresh and silky, with pear and floral flavors on a spicy frame, echoing softly" Wine Spectator

"Pineapple and mango aromas mix with notes of baking spices. The flavors show a fine sense of balance, tapering toward the finish. It's oak driven at times but provides a lot of enjoyment" Wine Enthusiast

"What's remarkable is the careful and personal detail each of the 6000 barrels get for this wine. They are all hand-stirred weekly when aging on the lees to add creamy texture and rich depth. Every wine is touched every week by the winemaking team for 8 months, a term the French call batonnage to extract flavour from the proteins and yeasts in the wine that would naturally settle on the bottom and not have much impact. This process really builds the mid-palate" Natalie Maclean

This wine is 100% barrel-fermented. Aromas of butterscotch, toasty oak and golden apple. Alluring golden straw in the glass which opens with intense aromas of apples and melons, joined by signature characters of crème brulee, caramelized sugar and butterscotch. Ripe orchard fruit flavors are joined by creamy, buttery notes and balanced by lively acidity, creating a rich yet fresh wine.

Chardonnay grapes were pressed and the juice was allowed to settle in stainless steel tanks. The juice was placed into a combination of new and one-to-three year old American and French oak barrels for fermentation. 22% of the blend was stainless steel fermented to increase varietal aromas and enhance the wine’s overall bouquet. All barrels were hand-stirred every week during the nine month aging period.
