Description

The Echo was a 104 ft scow, rigged as a topsail schooner, used to transport goods in the early 1900s, from Marlborough’s coastal Wairau Bar, to the town of Blenheim by the way of the Opawa river. Todays the river meanders through Marlborough’s flourishing vineyards of the lower Wairau plain.

So far the sauvignon blanc has been partially consumed...! I like this particular wine's dryness and slightly understated nature. For $10 or so......blimey.....can't go wrong. 4 stars.
