"Bright, light cerise-pink with slight purple hues and some depth, paler on the edge. The nose is elegantly concentrated with deep and well-packed aromas of fragrant red cherry and berry fruit interwoven with bright red florals and an amalgam of fresh fermentation esters of confectionary with piquant, mouthwatering herbs. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has a rounded but concentrated heart of vibrant, aromatic red cherry fruit with red florals and notes of fermentation esters, along with nuances of herbs. The mouthfeel is softly mouthwatering and the palate flows along a fine-textured line with integrated acidity, leading to a gently lingering finish. This is a rounded, but concentrated dry rosé with fragrant cherry and floral fruit along with lifted fermentation esters and mouthwatering herb notes on a soft-textured palate. Serve as an aperitif, with antipasto and tapas over the next 2 years. This refreshing style Rose was made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, grown on our family owned vineyard. The vibrant pink colour resulted from leaving juice in contact with its skins overnight prior to a gentle whole bunch press.
The juice was fermented in stainless steel to retain the varietal and fruit characteristics. The wine shows delightful aromas of strawberry, white flower and liquorice, with an abundance of raspberry, nectarine and cranberry on the palate. A perfect summer aperitif and is best served chilled.
