Description

"This is a magnificently matured wine; complex aromas of lemon peel, jasmine and nectarine with aged riesling-like toasty undertones on the nose. The palate is concentrated and impressively weighted, while remaining vibrant and refined, brilliantly supported by fine texture and bright acidity. A gorgeous alternative white wine filled with mouth-watering flavours. At its best: now to 2019" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, June 2018

This Gold medal winning Mystery Arneis's aromas are unique and charming. The bouqet is intriguing with an intense and freshly scented array of citrus, honeysuckle and mineral characters gradually coming to the fore. The palate is very approachable and has tangy acidity, leading the wine to a delicate and dry styled finish with excellent length.

The 2013 vintage in Hawkes Bay was warm and dry and this Mystery winery was able to harvest its fruit in pristine condition. Fruit from each of this Mystery's vineyards was hand and machine harvested before tank fermentation.

Food Pairing: Ideally suited as an apéritifor served with fresh seafood, particularly shallow fried squid served with a squeeze of lemon.

Very b\drinkable, but why is it still available six year after bottling?

Just not a popular style maybe? It used to be stocked at our local, then it was discontinued- I suspect I was the only one buying it!
