1 x Big Bunch Hawke’s Bay Rose 2014

AWARDED 90/100 POINTS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2014

"An immediately appealing rose, it's beautifully expressed on the nose displaying candied apple, citrus and strawberry aromas. The palate is ripe and juicy with lovely mid palate weight and texture, leading to a lingering smooth finish. At its best: now to 2016" Sam Kim Wine Orbit
A fragrant bouquet of fresh petals, confectionary and strawberry notes dominate the nose. An intensely flavoured palate with lovely richness, finishing balanced and polished. A dry styled wine which is fantastic for warm summer days.

Alc: 13.1% - Seal: Cork

1x Ferraton Cotes du Rhone Samorens Rose 2017 (France)

Intense and bright rosé colour in the glass with aromas of red berries (raspberries, red currant) in the bouquet. The palate is fresh and lively attack, wine displaying a lot of freshness, roundness with aromas of red fruit (strawberry, raspberry). A lot of minerality on the finish.

The grapes (Grenache (75%), Syrah, Cinsault) for this rosé are grown on vineyards situated on the right bank of the Rhône with alluvial soils of limestone, sand, pebbles and clay. The juice after crushing was cold settling for 24 hours with fermentation, in vats, lasting for 15 days at a temperature between 15 and 19°C.

Alc: 13% - Seal: Cork

1 x Spy Valley Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2017

AWARDED 17.5/20 POINTS: Raymond Chan, Oct 2017

"The nose is light and delicately fragrant with aromas of subtle red fruits and florals, along with thirst-quenching minerals. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, the palate has a fine, elegantly concentrated core of white stonefruits with subtle red berry fruit and floral elements. The fruit has a delicate richness, balanced by mouthwatering mineral notes and light phenolic textures. The acidity provides good freshness, and the wine carries to a light, minerally finish. This is in the Provencal rosé style" Raymond Chan, Oct 2017

95% of the grapes were handpicked and whole bunch pressed. As well as the Pinot Noir a small percentage of Syrah and Malbec from Spy Valley's own vineyards were whole bunch pressed and fermented in tank to add to the final blend. This 2017 Rosé will retain its fresh, crisp personality for around two years, then begin to mellow and become more complex. It should remain attractive up to and possibly beyond 2020.

Alc: 12.5% - Seal: Screw Cap

1 x Pablo Claro Organic Rosado 2016 (Spain)

Made 100% from the native Valencian grape variety Bobal, known for producing soft, fruity, fresh-acid wines, perfect for the production of Rosado. Harvested at night to preserve freshness and cold-macerated before fermentation to enhance natural colour and fruit intensity. Alluring salmon-pink in hue with fresh raspberry and cherry aromas. A delicious dry rose, with abundant berry flavours and a soft, clean finish. A perfect match for seafood, white meats, summer salads, cold-cuts and pasta dishes. Outstanding value.

Situated in the town of Las Pedroñeras in the north of La Mancha, Spain’s largest wine region, halfway between Valencia and Madrid. Founded and owned by the Fernandez family the estate currently comprises over 200 hectares of vineyards. All wines are estate grown by the modern means of a sustainable agriculture and winemaking and are fully certified organic. The modern winery is situated next to the vineyard to minimalize handling and preserve freshness and quality.

1 x TW Wines Lilly Gisborne Rosé 2017

Enchantingly pink, Lilly is perfumed with Summer happiness. 2017 Lilly Rosé exhibits aromas of wild flowers and strawberries. The palate offers flavours of pink cherry, watermelon and strawberry – the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of summer. Enjoy this wine in the sun with friends simply as it is or with your favourite antipasti.

Selectively harvested, the Merlot for this Rosé was gently crushed and destemmed before holding in the press for 12 hours prior to pressing. This allowed the perfect balance of flavour and colour extraction before the juice was separated from the skins to be slightly clarified. The fermentation was conducted with aromatic yeast and carefully controlled with temperature to ensure maximum retention of delicate flavours and aromas. Prior to bottling this wine was gently fined with traditional proteins to prefect the palate experience.
