Aged for 10 months in a combination of new and aged French Barrique, the wine offers attractive fruit flavours with savoury nuances, displaying dark cherry, smoked game, clove and toasted nut characters with a hint of earthy mushroom note. The palate is juicy with spicy undertones, beautifully framed by the fine tannins.

Misty Cove is a family owned and operated boutique wine company producing from the Marlborough region of New Zealand. Founded in 2008, Andrew Bailey and his family oversee the vineyard and wine-making process right through to the sales, marketing and administration ensuring every bottle of Misty Cove is lovingly hand crafted.

The Signature wines are deeply influenced by old world wine making techniques, lovingly handcrafted in small batch quantities, we craft these wines to reflect the signature attributes and characteristics of the vineyard which they originate.

The fruit for our Signature Pinot Noir is grown in our Rapaura vineyard in the lower Wairau Valley. Having different clones 115, 10/5, 777 and 667, this contributes individual characters and layers of complexity to the blend.

Food Pairing: Misty  Cove Signature Pinot Noir can be best enjoyed with a wide range of dishes including lamb, beer, venison, duck, wild meats, mushrooms or cheeses.
